Welcome to the introduction page of the Sen2Chain tool. The goal of this wiki is to allow a quick deployment and use of the tool.

Sen2Chain is a processing chain developed by the [UMR Espace-Dev](http://www.espace-dev.fr/) which download, process and generate indices times series of Sentinel-2 satellite data.
|
|
|
|
|
|

**How to install Sen2Chain**
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This package requires pip3, Python 3, GDAL, OTB and [Sen2Cor](http://step.esa.int/main/third-party-plugins-2/sen2cor/). For more details please find the complete installation description [here](https://framagit.org/jebins/sen2chain/blob/master/docs/source/installation.rst).

**How to configure Sen2Chain**
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Once installed, the software is easily configured by integrating the different variables requested by Sen2Chain into the file config.cfg and peps.txt which is located in the tree structure at the user/sen2chain_data/config.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
To perform this step you will need a user account on the [PEPS](https://peps.cnes.fr/rocket/#/register) and [Scihub ](https://scihub.copernicus.eu/dhus/#/self-registration)portal.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In the file peps.txt you just need to enter the login and password of your PEPS account
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
**First step with Sen2Chain**
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ensuite je verrais bien une page descriptive des grandes fonctions de l'outil (downloading, sen2cor, génération d'indices, multiprocessing, times series...)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Mettre aussi des références à quickstart et aux quelques code.py qui facilite l'utilisation de la chaîne. |
